How to reach IUSM
IUSM - Piazza Lauro de Bosis, 15
From the Airport:
Take
the shuttle train, Leonardo Express, to Stazione Termini, the main railway
station, then the underground (Metro) line A up to Piazzale Flaminio and
finally, bus n. 2 up to Piazza Mancini (terminus); cross the bridge, Ponte
Duca d'Aosta; the university is right in front of you. The Leonardo Express costs
8,80 Euros and runs every half hour from 5:52 am to 10.52 pm.
There is another,
cheaper, train from Fiumicino Airport to Rome but it does not stop at Stazione
Termini; look for trains going to Orte or Fara Sabina and get off at Stazione
Ostiense, then take the bus n. 280. Trains leave approximately every 20
minutes and the fare is 4,50 Euros. There are vending machines for train tickets
as well as a ticket window just off the platform. Tickets must be validated before
boarding the train.
The taxi fare from the airport to the city centre
averages about 45,00 Euros.
From the Railway Station:
Take the underground Line A up to Piazzale Flaminio, then bus n.2 up to Piazza Mancini (terminus); cross the bridge, Ponte Duca d'Aosta; the university is right in front of you.
Take the bus n. 280 and get off at the last stop on Lungotevere Cadorna, just before the bridge (Ponte Duca d'Aosta), the University is on your left.
From the Highway:
Take the ring road (Gran Raccordo Anulare or G.R.A.) and, from exit n.6, take via Flaminia then follow the directions for Tor di Quinto, straight on past Piazzale di Ponte Milvio, along Lungotevere Maresciallo Diaz; you will find the University on your right.
